The laryngoscope is a tool used for intubation and consists of two parts, the handle and the blade. It can be attached and removed on the blade handle. It is held by the handle and this part is fixed, the blade part is of different sizes and shapes, it is intubated using the blade that is suitable for the patient. There are two types of blades, macintosh (curved) and shafts (straight).
